A native of Chicago, André McCaskey attended Columbia College Chicago as a Theater/Dance major. His dance preparation includes ballet, modern, African, jazz, musical theater, and improv.  Professionally, André has performed with various companies, including 12 years with Theater 47 where was nominated for Best Choreography for his work in Living All Alone the Phyllis Hyman Musical. Currently he is over the dance program at Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep. In this production, Andre also plays Lloyd Parks during the day shows and the iconic teddy bear.
