Blake is a proud native of Park Forest, Illinois, and is thrilled to be making his Theater 47 debut. His stage work includes Dontrell, Who Kissed the Sea (Pegasus Theatre), Ziggy Marley in Three Little Birds (Young People’s Theater Chicago),& Peewee in The Other Cinderella (Black Ensemble Theater, 2019 & 2023). He also appeared in Grandma’s Jukebox with Michelle Renee Bester, earning nominations for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical (Black Theater Arts Alliance Awards) and Outstanding Ensemble (African American Arts Alliance Awards). On screen, Blake is featured in Move Ya Body: The Birth of House (Sundance Film Festival, dir. Elegance Bratton) and holds additional film credits beyond those listed. He will also make his Chicago P.D. debut this October. Blake extends heartfelt
